Piano Marathon is a semi-formal performance showcase without an intermission. Due to it’s semi-formal nature, there is no audition required for performers wishing to participate. Instead, we select performers based on their performance during our online zoom meetups. Priority consideration is given to members who have participated in a minimum of two zoom meetups by February 1. An ideal marathon candidate should have demonstrated an ability to play the entire piece from start to finish with ease and fluency during the zoom meetup. Also, he/she should be confident enough to share their playing with the audience either in-person or online. Lastly, he/she should be a team player who is considerate towards the organizer as well as fellow marathon players.
